At Pathways to Independence, we serve a variety of ages from those transitioning into adulthood to adults and seniors looking to build community. We also serve individuals with a wide range of cognitive disabilities such as autism level 1, learning disabilities, mild intellectual disabilities, AD(H)D, borderline intellectual functioning, written and expressive disorders, and brain injuries.

“When I joined Pathways, I was going to events to try to get to know people and try to make those connections. I wanted to gain confidence to get together with people outside of Pathways and with small groups. I’m doing that now.”

    Social Growth

    Social Growth focuses on increasing positive social experiences, expanding social circles, elevating self-confidence and improving self-esteem through supported leisure programming.

    Social Focus offers participant-led small group interactions with staff support for planning and execution.

  • Community Connections

    Providing support to participants to join and maintain membership of an existing community group.

  • Social College

    Social College is a series of discussions and activities focusing on participant-identified social topics.
